Holiday Road Trip: Mary & Hayden

Thursday, Dec 17th

Mary and Hayden hit the road, Madison-bound! We left around noon, Hayden was an absolute champ on the drive, and arrived after 5 p.m. to wonderfully welcoming arms: Betty, Spencer and cousins Elsie and Leo!

Friday, Dec 18th

Elsie's last day of school until holiday break, while the rest of us played around the house and cuddled with little Leo. Then, when Elsie came home from school, we had so much fun in the ball pit, climbing up the stairs and general exploration of the new house! Awesome Mexican food for dinner. Bath time before bed. Watching Elsa with lil E. Great day!

Saturday, Dec 19th

A wonderful morning of fun! We ate a tasty breakfast, played more in the ball pit, cruised around the kitchen with the walker, opened cousins Christmas gifts, and made Christmas ornaments! Mary and Hayden then hit the road around 1 p.m., headed toward Grandma and Grandpa in Faribault.

Sunday Dec 20th

Hayden did great on the drive to Faribault; we had a some time before bedtime with Grandma and Grandpa. Next day, Laura, Lena, Nathan and Bruce came to visit! Hayden wasn't feeling great (which we soon learn to be a double ear infection), but we still had a blast playing with Lena Mae. We took a walk outside, ate tasty food, had great laughs :)
