Asked to stop the car to go potty on the way to Lena's.. and big poop and pee
in the potty in the van! (Dean also had a poops diaper, so it was a fruitful stop!!)

10.22.22 In an attempt to have something/someone for her to cuddle with in
her own bed, we found a big kid doll, whom she immediately, in store,
named "Katie."Since this day, Katie has slept in mom/dad's bed on an increasing
basis. After stories, she will leave her room, find Katie to bring into our bed,
say good night and close the door. Then, right back to her room to climb into
bed. It's adorable 😍 Closest Katie has been to cuddling with Hayden is the
figgy cushions in her room 🤷♀️
I'm gonna crawl into bed (after or sometimes mid-stories)
After crawling over me into our bed at night, she has been leaving/crawling
out, says "can you lay down my bed for a little bit" to no one, walks back to
her room, crawls up and back to sleep
Favorite shows: Molly of Denali, Wild Kratts, Daniel Tiger. Starting to want to
watch the same episode again and again… she can remember the picture for
each episode!
Halloween 2022: purple "mernaid" 💜
Carved and painted pumpkins 🎃 She was eating chunks of pumpkin and
taking bites out of the tops 🙈 So much fun trick-or-treating, and would not
be slowed down by her mermaid tail!

11.5.22 Refers to the new basement as her playhouse. Has been so intrigued
with the construction, the "workers," the diggers and big trucks! It's awesome
Her imagination!! And sound effects, and face expressions 🤣 🤩
She is a tough negotiator 🙃 ha! It's pretty impressive really!

11.15.22 Summit School Conferences (Toddler III) w Ms Alex: very verbal,
very bright girl. Great participation. She's a stinker (mischievous) when bored.
Learning to recognize others' emotions.
When she can't think of a word or doesn't know someone's name, "What that
person's name is?" Or "What that thing called?"
The way she talks to Canyon!! 😍🤣 Asks him if he wants to go with to the
living room/Dean's room/etc.
11.19.22 First trip to the library! Lots of play and borrowed some books. Also
rented out some binoculars! First library card 😊 And, Hannah was there!
Loving warm apple cider with "sugar" (sometimes names it correctly as
cinnamon, "cimmanon") 😍
11.20.22 Dad, will you help me carry out all the books from my room so that
Momma can't read them?
Is a digger strong enough to pick up the tree from the ground?
Canyon has a sore on his paw, so she keeps offering one of her socks to cover it.

11.30.22 Drew pictures and added a sticker for Riley, Charlie and Murphy then
brought to school for them today. And Owen. 👏 adorable.

12.1.22 First full day in Preschool I
Her rhyming is next level. New doll name: baby crady brady
12.3 and 12.4.22 Fun weekend with two kids that nap one time a day!!
Sat 12.3 to the DPL to play, read and surprise Ms Jena and holiday crafts!
Sun 12.4 Up to Knife River for Julebyen. Rode the troll train, bought fish
ornaments, S is for Santa book… met Santa! Little chilly, but a great time.
Mom: What color is Santa's beard?
Hayden: White. What color is Santa's face?
Mom: Peach.

Getting really (mostly) sweet with Deano. Hugs (actually gentle ones) when
he's sad and, "it's OK Deano, I'm here"
12.9.22 Finally called me out for skipping pages during storytime… the
Elmo Inside and Outside book: "I think we lost some pages, let's look.. yeah,
this one us lost (holds her hand on the page to save it, keeps flipping back
through), and this one. Found em" 🧐🫣🤩
12.14.22 First play date with Riley! Sledding and snow playing with a break
in the snowstorm
12.16.22 Bentleyville 2022. Hayden meet Santa and Mrs. Claus! When asked
what she wants for Christmas, "a kitty cat" 🤦🏻♀️ 😺 She walked so slowly the
whole way haha, cookie, hot cocoa, popcorn and even roasted marshmallows 😋
