4.16.22 Riding her Strider around the house (naked, of course) after we get
back from Bentonville
LOVES her strider! 🚲 ❤
Needing toddler sleep training… thankfully, no fits when we pick her up and
take her back to her bed. Lot of "lay down, daddy" and "lay down, mommy."
Wanders out, sometimes carrying Edie and/or blankie.
"No Daddy" phase is heartbreaking. Separation anxiety

4.25.22 I met her in the kitchen at like 2am, she was holding her strider
handlebars like she was gonna go for a ride
Wanders through the dark to our room, waits for me to get up, raises her arms
to be picked up. I pick her up and walk to put her in back in her bed
Reaaaally working on where to place "not" in a sentence and getting better
everday!

5.5.22 First MN bike ride! We saw the horses, a duck, rabbit and heard the
froggies! Loved it

wants to sit for lunch outside… she responds from the top of her climbing wall,
pointing "over there, right there"
Seriously was watching from the kitchen window and picked up the plates to walk
out the door and she's at the top of that wall 😳 spider girlie

Still her signature double ear grab and sucks on bottom lip (when tired, uncertain)
When she wakes up, climbs out of bed, opens her door (sometimes turns her light
on, regretfully), and the patter of her feet as she sprints across the kitchen toward
our room
Just completely dislikes blankets 🤷♀️ Has shown more like of the snap peas "green"
blanket, and has offered the cozy Dino blankie to both Dad and Dean

loves putting sentences together ❤️

7.17.22 Morning poops in the potty!! 💩 It's been a long while. Two poops in
her pants (no diaper) this past week, so hopefully she's ready to commit 🤞

Informal contractions make her sound so grown up when she speaks!

8.4.22 First Covid vaccine
8.6-8.7.22 Big weekend!!On 8.6, everyone in our house got >/= 9 hours of sleep!
(Dean 7p-6a, Hayden 8p-6a, mom/dad 9p-6a). Then, on 8.7, Sam and I had our
first night away from the littles 😳 for an LSD concert at Big Top
8.7.22 "My tummy hurts"
"Do you need to go potty?"
She walks around the kitchen, then in and out of the living room
"There's a potty in your bedroom, Hayden. You could turn on your light and use
that potty"
… 2 minutes later, walks back into the kitchen, pulling up her pants, "I use the
potty" … Sam goes to empty it and it's a big turd!!
Do you want ____? "No, I'm good."
Another word/phrase I can't correct: Daniel-Lion (sounds like dandelion)… She
refers to Daniel Tiger ❤️
Playing "I spy with my little eye" with books! 👏 So fun to hear what she comes
up with. And she is really good at finding!
Sleeps in her own big kid bed all night. We're bringing back the red/ green light
for wake up time 🤞

8.27.22 Hayden + Mom weekend trip to Madison for Elsie's 5th bday
Comes home with songs from school: popcorn in the pot (popcorn kernels, shake

8.30.22 First poop in big potty!! (At Aunt Emmy's celebrating Kya's 21st bday)
8.31.22 Earned a bowl of fruit loops for breakfast for sleeping in her bed all night!!
We told her that would be the case, and she delivered!
My birthday is at Target
8.31.22 Two potty poops. And three days in a row of pooping in the potty only! 👏🤞😍
On a remarkable poop in the potty stretch!! She likes her privacy (sneaks off into
the living room, then walks into the kitchen saying, I pooped). Three poops a day
for 3 days in a row.
