3.1.22 Three successful potties at School!! And poop in her diaper at naptime.

3.2.22 FOUR successful potties at School 👏 She's SO proud!! And, requesting underwear 🥳

3.3-3.5.22 Great Wolf Cousin Trip 🤩 First time sleeping on a bed… 🙈

3.4.22 DRY NIGHTTIME DIAPER! 

Sam's Theory of Three Hayden's: the Past, the Present and the Future.

That's why it feels like it's impossible to keep up with her.

Past is just a distraction from what she's currently doing or about to do. Present is just setting you up for being content and in control, all the while she's working on her Future plans.

3.12.22 Big kid bed! First nap 🤞 … solid 15 min. Awesome night of sleep 👍🥳

3.16.22 Thud. Rolled off the end of her bed at 2am 😬 Quick recovery. Then, out of bed, door open and turned her light on at 5:30am… "Hayden wake!" As happy as ever haha

Avoids pooping in the potty…🥺

New dresser in her room with underwear drawer and socks drawer

When something is gone or lost or just out of sight, it's "hiding"

Loves Peekaboo and hide and seek  - will cover her eyes with hands and count, "1..2…3…1..2..3"

Her excitement during hide and seek is revealing herself or whatever it is that was hiding 🤣🤣

Working on "thumbs up, dude"

Time of year for walks down Beyer Rd! Looking at horse poop (middle of the road), hoof and paw prints in the mud, listening for birds!

3.19.22 Sick girlie 🤮 First time puking. Really sad

3.21.22 Offering treats (cookies, cupcake, green fruit snacks) in order for her to agree to take medicine … she doesn't eat the treat, mom/dad eat the treat

3.25.22 Trainwreck weekend for birthdays 😭 Seems like she gets overwhelmed and frustrated with so much commotion; big emotions all around

"A… exa, new song" when in the van

3.29.22 Plays 'find it' with Canyon. Hides his purple toy (throws it in the kitchen), then says "Free, find it!" 👏👏👏

3.30.22 Snow Day …. And, turd in the potty! X2! Told her she would get a big treat if she went poop in the potty

"Yay, Hayden, turd in potty… Yay, Momma, clean it up… Yay… after naptime, ice cream cone… ice cream cone…" I told her she could have a "big treat" if she pooped in the potty today - and she delivered… twice! Ice cream cone, then donuts 🍩 

Repeating all things!! Full sentences.

"Canyon go? Momma let him in"

NOPE. And, no way!

2.1.22 Sitting in the hippo chair at the table!

2.2.22 Slept 1830-0300! I had to pump by 0230, then the dude was ready for it

2.4.22 FOUR MONTHS! Tall, lean dude. 

Famous for his BIG belly toots. Once on his tummy, he releases loud farts! "Warning shots for the big one" (Sam)

2.9.22 Blowing raspberries and sticking out his tongue 😜 

His teacher (Jordan) at Summit "wishes she had 10 Dean babies" 🤩

Pretty dece sitter! Won't be long 💚

2.13.22 Bought him a walker/roller. 

2.14.22 First bath in the big tub with big sister. LOVES laying on his back and kicking in the water! 

Diving his head and face after his pacifier 🤣

So much grabbing. Loves playing with our hands, his hands, his pacifier. Grabbing and holding his bottle!

2.20.22 First day with the zippadee zip sleep sack 🤞😴

Dude LOVES the water 💧 😍 

Endlessly entertained by Canyon and Hayden

Finding his voice 😎

2.23.22 SITTER! Holds his weight up with his arms for now, while holding a foot 

2.25.22 Donated 402 oz of breast milk! 

Pretty consistent with bedtime between 1800-1830, wake up between 2200-2300 (Sam gives bottle), wake up 0230 (BF). Then, early riser these days between 0430-0530 😫 Has been wrestling the swaddle and a bit ornery (probs because he's been sick for a week or so 😭)  

Full time zipadee zip sleepsack… hit or miss 

Also, still 50/50 on the pacifier deal

Getting really good with his hands! Can hold up his bottle 🍼 with intermittent assistance 

3.3-3.5.22 Great Wolf Slinger Trip! 

Solid tummy timer! 

Everything to his mouth, especially cloth/blanket/towel 🙈

Loves watching Hayden and Canyon. HUGE smiles for everyone 😊 

Very grabby and strong hands

3.15.22 Side sleeper … maybe tummy?

Seems VERY interested in food. Basically lunges at our plates!

Regular, ol sitter these days! Leans forward to reach for objects … maybe sit to hands and

knees soon?

3.23.22 Lip smacking! Sticking tongue out 😛 

Dean the studier 📚 Looking at and studying toys, quietly. Turning them over and around. 

3.26.22 LOVES the walker/convertible

3.27.22 Start sleep training… 😬 1215-1250 BF and diaper. 0445 6 oz bottle, handed him

a pacifier and he put it in his mouth, burps, back to sleep

3.28.22 1900-0300, 0330 bottle and diaper, slept until almost 0700 😲

3.30.22 1900-0245, wake up BF diaper, 0315-0615. Waking up happy as ever 😁

3.31.22 1900-0500 (10 hrs!!!)

4.3.22 Boiling sap with Bopa

SUPER interested in food. VERY mouthy, so much drooling and EVERYTHING must be

chewed on! Shoulders, hands, fingers, all toys, blankets, his toes. Where are those

bottom teeth? 🤔 

4.4.22 SIX months

4.5.22 First tastes of a pickle!

Consistently wiggles his way to face horizontal at the top of the pnp mattress 🤣

Grabs and holds the sides of the pnp

Few nights slept 1900 to about 0300, quick change and BF, then out til 0700

(Hayden wakes him up). ⅘ and 4/6, first two (consecutive) nights slept 1900 until 0530-0700!!!

Chatty dude! Lots of mouth action

Holding/Standing up, supporting himself (on tub, coffee table, dad)

LOTs of rolling and tummy time, pushes into his hands with straight arms

4.11.22 Tummy sleeper?!

4.13.22 and 4.14.22…12 hrs of sleep for this tummy guy

Finger raking and wrist twisties

4.16.22 working on butt in the air during tummy time (downward dog-ish)!

4.16.22 First night in his own room! (Previously, Sam and I slept in guest bedroom

and he slept in the master 🙃) Everyone sleeping much better!!

Stirred around 5am, BF and diaper, then back out til 0630… ❤

Did great munching on a whole strawberry 🍓 

So ticklish! 

Backwards belly scoots

Full out SPRINTING in his walker!! 🤣🤣 And, seriously the biggest smiles 😃 

4.26.22 Giggling so hard at Hayden making fart noises in the car

Spinning/Rotating in circles on his belly 🙃

Pushes up onto his hands and working on getting to his knees. Butt in the air. Crawler soon?

LOVES crackers!

Bobbing for his pacifier on his tummy 🤣

Exclusive pumping by 6 months. Has been working well. Dean prefers the bottle

and we are a much more efficient and happy team
